# Displays

## Main Display

The Main Display is the **most informative element** of your Tardis. It has four distinct sections:

* Battery
* Location
* Output
* Console
* Other

This display, alongside the Travel Display and the [Music Panel Display](#music-display), will **never power off** unless the Tardis fails or fully runs out of power.

### Battery section

This section exclusively includes a **bar with the power level** of the **Tardis.** The battery must be **kept charged** at all times. Managing the battery is explained in [**this section**](/tardis-operative-briefing/advanced-operation.md#managing-the-battery-level) **in Advanced Operation.**

The bar will turn **orange under 40%** and **red under 20%.**

### Location section

The **location section,** featured in the middle of the Main Display, shows information about your **current location and timeline.**

It displays your **current coordinates,** which indicate your location; the **Time Line,** which shows the **year,** and also includes an indicator for the scale the Time Line is in (Thousands in the case of the image presented as example); the **dimension you are currently in** and the **name and image of the planet** you are located at.

### Output section

This part of the display UI shows the **output of certain sequences or functions.** During a Tardis' boot, the output section will display the **initialization of certain switches.** Once a boot is completed, the Tardis will display a **'Boot 51 Completed' message.**

This section will also **display other outputs.** Some examples of this could be the **door state** after toggling the door using the **door toggle button**, **printing the keypad code** or the status of flight, including **invalid takeoff requests** or the **flight status of the Tardis.**

### Console section

This section will **show the most recently modified** button or switch. It will, however, **only display modifications** of any input on the **Main Lever panel** and the **Stabilizers panel.**

**SafeGuard information** can also be displayed. Namely, SafeGuard **failures or errors.**

It also shows the **status of the** [**TSC Request**](/tardis-operative-briefing/advanced-operation.md#tsc-request) on the second line.

### 'Other' section

This section will display **music information** and **information not pertaining to any** of the previously mentioned **sections.**

The music information that will be displayed in this screen is as follows:

* The currently playing song in the following format: 'Music - \[Song name]'
* The state of the [Music Panel Display](#music-display) by showing 'Music Panel Display Opening'

### Main Display Movement

The screen has **full mobility** to be moved **to all sides of the control panel.** [You can move it](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] using the **handles** on **both sides of the display.**

## Travel Display

The **Travel Display** focuses on the **location information** of your Tardis. It **expands upon** the **Location section of the main display.**
